Join Standard Sport live to discuss all the big issues in the world of football with columnist Tony Evans.

This weekend sees Arsenal line up against Manchester United having been humbled by Barcelona, while Liverpool take on Machester City in the Capital One Cup final.

Tony has had plenty of you reacting to his latest column for the Evening Standard, in which he discussed the perception of Barcelona in world football ahead of their Champions League victory at Arsenal.

He wrote: "Mes que un club. Imagine if Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, or Real Madrid had ‘more than a club’ as their motto. It would be laughable. Yet Barcelona roll out this axiom with a straight face. They are loved for it.

"Watch Barcelona. Their sense of entitlement is stunning. They whinge to the referee constantly. Sergio Busquets is one of the worst culprits.

"He is a superb defensive midfielder but his combination of snide fouls and play-acting undermine his brilliance. Barca dive, flounce and complain — and that’s when they’re on top. When things go against them they squeal louder than Jose Mourinho.

"The Camp Nou is a soulless concrete bowl where the crowd are semi-detached and vicious. Bullfighting may be banned in Catalonia but the slaughtering of La Liga’s lesser lights is the nearest thing to bloodsport in the area.

"More than a club? Maybe. But in all the wrong ways."

Meanwhile, Standard Sport understands that Italy are resigned to losing Chelsea’s top target Antonio Conte this summer and have drawn up a list of potential successors. Is he the right man for the Blues?
