Wigan get reduced Wembley allocation

Wigan will get only 15,000 tickets for the Community Shield after failing to sell out their allocation for both last season’s FA Cup Final and semi-final.

However, Manchester United will receive 35,000 tickets for the match at Wembley on August 11.

FA general secretary Alex Horne said: “Wigan’s allocation is based on the attendances across their two visits to Wembley last season.”
