Wife of Manchester United's Anthony Martial, Samantha, has dropped a clanger on Instagram during the club's match against Watford at Vicarage Road.

The France international was absent from Louis van Gaal's squad for the trip to Hertfordshire having sustained an injury while on international duty with France.

But that didn't stop his partner logging on to social media with a message of good luck to the team, who knew victory in Saturday's early kick-off would take them to the Premier League summit.

Indeed, she posted three muscle-flexing emojis with the caption 'Manchester United' but unwittingly uploaded the note alongside an image of Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

Supporters quickly started pointing out Martial's glaring error and she moved quickly to delete the nightmare post [check it out below].

But fans of the Red Devils will worry little, given Memphis Depay scored early to give Louis van Gaal's side a 1-0 lead at Watford and on course to overtake the Gunners in the league standings.
