Tottenham begin their Champions League campaign with a trip to Inter Milan on Tuesday as they look to better reaching the round of 16 last season.

Having finished top of the ‘group of death’ last term, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been handed another tough group with Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven making up the four alongside Inter Milan.

Spurs game at the San Siro kicks off at the earlier time of 5.55pm BST after Uefa scrapped 7.45pm kick offs back in February.

Following the format of the Europa League, games in Uefa’s flagship competition will have staggered kick-offs this season, with a number of games starting at 5.55pm before a second group at 8pm, with Liverpool vs Paris Saint Germain following Spurs’ game in Italy this week.

The tweak game alongside other changes, such as all four Premier League teams that qualified for the Champions League this season going straight into the draw for the group stages as opposed to whoever finished fourth facing a qualifying round.
