Chelsea's troubles this season have been about far more than just their leaky defence, after all, their woes in front of goal have also caused the reigning Premier League champions issues this term.

Diego Costa has been heavily relied upon this season, with injuries and indeed poor form hindering the impact of the likes of Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao at the club.

The latter arrived at Stamford Bridge after then-Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho revealed his belief that he could get the Colombia star firing again following a disappointing loan move to Manchester United the previous season.

However, it didn't happen. Despite scoring a fine diving header in Chelsea's home defeat to Crystal Palace, Falcao has since fallen down the pecking order at the club as Costa has re-discovered his goalscoring touch while youngster Bertrand Traore has emerged as a useful back-up option to Guus Hiddink.

Alexandre Pato, too, has endured a tricky time since sealing a short-term loan move from Corinthians in the winter and is yet to make an appearance for his new side, which could now result in Chelsea cutting his stay in London short.

But which of Chelsea's two on-loan strikers in Falcao and Pato has been the worse signing for the club?
