The draw for the second round of the Capital One Cup will take place on Thursday August 13.

Teams will learn the identity of their next opponent at 9:45pm with the draw scheduled to take place after the conclusion of Doncaster Rovers vs. Leeds United and will be shown live on Sky Sports 5 and Sky Sports News.

The Championship, League One and League Two teams that were victorious in Round One will be joined in the draw by Premier League sides that aren't competing in Europe this season.

The 12 Premier League teams will be seeded, along with the top 12 winners from Round One.

A host of Championship sides were beaten by lower level opposition in Round One and the remaining representatives from the capital will be hopeful that they can progress to the latter stages of the tournament.
