West Ham team to face AFC Wimbledon: Andriy Yarmolenko and Lucas Perez make full debuts as Declan Rice returns

Manuel Pellegrini has named a strong team for his first EFL Cup game in charge of West Ham as they face League One AFC Wimbledon in the second round.

With three defeats from three Premier League games so far, an impressive performance and strong result here at Kingsmeadow tonight will go a long way to building confidence in the new-look side.

Summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko is handed a full debut after appearances off the bench while Declan Rice is back in the starting XI for the first time since he was hauled off at half-time in the defeat at Anfield.

Robert Snodgrass, who turned down a Scotland call-up to focus on impressing Pellegrini, is handed his third consecutive start while Lucas Perez also makes his full debut, alongside Javier Hernandez in a two up front.
