West Ham remain interested in signing Hull midfielder Robert Snodgrass, who was left out of the squad at Chelsea yesterday with an injury.

Hull want at least £10m for Snodgrass, £4m more than West Ham have offered, while struggling Crystal Palace are also reported to be keen on the former Leeds and Norwich player.

The Hammers are yet to reach an agreement with Brentford for Scott Hogan, with the transfer saga set to rumble on into the final week of the window. Hogan was left out of the squad at Wigan on Saturday after manager Dean Smith said the striker has had his “head turned”.

Brentford are holding out for £15m for the 24-year-old and have rejected bids from other Premier League clubs.

The Hammers remain reluctant to sell the France international unless the club match their valuation of £35million.

Marseille’s most recent offer for Payet, who wants to return to the south of France because his family are unsettled, was £26.5m which was rejected by West Ham.
