West Ham keen on William Gallas

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is looking to sign defender William Gallas from Spurs, according to reports.

Gallas struggled with a niggling calf injury at White Hart Lane season but West Ham are looking to boost their defensive options and see the experienced Frenchman as an ideal signing as they prepare for their Premier League return, the Sun reports.

The Hammers have already signed Mohamed Diame and Jussi Jaaskelainen this summer on free transfers.
