West Ham defender Winston Reid was stretchered off with a knee injury during West Ham's relegation tussle with Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

The Hammers were already a goal down following Ki Sung-yueng's low strike from 25 yards when Alfie Mawson nodded a high ball towards goal, prompting a scramble inside Adrian's six-yard box.

Reid's right knee appeared to buckle under his own weight as he attempted to clear the ball before Declan Rice cleared Federico Fernandez's strike off the line and away for a Swans corner.

A six-minute delay followed as Reid was seen to and lifted onto a stretcher.

The West Ham defender left the field in an oxygen mask as fans of both sides united in applause for the New Zealand international.
