CLUB STAND FIRM ON PAYET

Dimitri Payet will not be leaving West Ham this month despite refusing to play for the club. Payet wants a move away from West Ham but joint-chairman David Sullivan said in his programme notes: "The board's position is that we do not want to sell Dimitri, we do not need to sell Dimitri for financial or any other reasons, and we will NOT sell Dimitri in the January transfer window."

…BUT THE FANS MAY HAVE ALREADY TURNED ON HIM

But some West Ham fans clearly do not want Payet to stay at the Hammers. Some West Ham supporters have come up with a new chorus for their "We've got Payet" song. It goes: "F*** off Payet, Dimitri Payet, we just don't want you anymore, you've got some f****** front, you money-grabbing c***, f*** off Dimitri Payet."

CARROLL PROVIDES THE MAGIC

Who needs Payet anyway? Especially when you have Andy Carroll. Carroll made sure of up a crucial three points for West Ham with a magnificent scissor kick that might just rival and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Olivier Giroud for goal of the season.

BILIC’S GAMBLE PAYS OFF

Most West Ham supporters seem to support the stance Slaven Bilic has taken over Payet this week. Bilic decided to publicly reveal Payet has asked to leave and fans sung his name throughout. This felt like a big win for Bilic and West Ham after Payet had asked to leave. A bad result and the pressure would start to build.

IT GOES FROM BAD TO WORSE FOR ALLARDYCE

Sam Allardyce is facing a huge job at Crystal Palace. This was an abject display from Palace and they look in really trouble. Only goal difference is keeping them out of the bottom three and they are gearing up for a long battle against relegation. More new signings cannot come quickly enough for Allardyce.
