Dele Alli returned to the Tottenham starting XI as they prepared to face West Brom at The Hawthorns.

The England international missed last weekend's 0-0 draw with Chelsea through suspension, but returned in place of Ryan Mason as Mauricio Pochettino's men sought to return to winning ways in The Midlands.

The Spurs boss also opted to reintroduce Erik Lamela to his starting XI, as Heung-min Son dropped to the bench.

Meanwhile, Tottenham summer target Saido Berahino was named among the West Brom substitutes.

West Brom: Myhill, Dawson, Olsson, Evans, McAuley, Brunt, Sessegnon, Morrison, Fletcher, McClean, Rondon.

Subs: Chester, Gardner, Anichebe, Lambert, Berahino, McManaman, Lindegaard.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.

Subs: Son, Vorm, N'Jie, Trippier, Onomah, Wimmer, Winks.

Referee: Jon Moss (W Yorkshire)
