The England international has agreed a deal that will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2022, and is understood to have doubled his weekly salary from £25,000 to around £55,000 a week.
Alli signed a new five-year contract only in January, but it is a measure of how highly manager Mauricio Pochettino regards the midfielder that Spurs have further extended his deal and significantly increased his wages.
The midfielder has quickly become a fan favourite at White Hart Lane for his charasmatic performances, earning praise from the supporters with a song that also aims a cheeky dig at Arsenal rival Mesut Ozil.
When asked how it felt to hear 80,000 Spurs fans chanting his name during Champions League matches at Wembley, Alli replied: "It makes the hairs stand up on your arms, it's unbelievable.
"The fans like that song as well, so do I - it's a good song, I like it!"

When pressed on whether he had ever sung the song himself, Alli joked: "In the shower, yeah!"
Alli also said of his new long-term deal: “I am happy to be here and playing at Tottenham.
"I can’t think of anywhere better with the fans and the manager we have got here and the young team. It is a great place to be.”
