Jose Mourinho's reaction to Ashley Young's sensational Manchester United free kick was priceless

More than a few Manchester United fans would argue that the club has not seen enough from Ashley Young since his move from Aston Villa in 2011, but the 32-year-old is arguably in the form of his life at the moment.

The veteran winger has looked to be on his way out of Old Trafford under numerous managers, but has redeveloped his game to become Jose Mourinho's go-to left-back.

Young has provided three assists for United in all competitions this season, and had a 'goal' ruled out in United's 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday as the effort was eventually judged to be a Lewis Dunk own goal.

That decision seemingly spurred on Young against Watford on Tuesday night, as the England international scored United's two opening goals.

Young drilled in the first from outside the area with a sweetly struck volley, but the second stunned Vicarage Road as he whipped a free kick into the top right-hand corner of Heurelho Gomes' net.

The effort caught the goalkeeper flat-footed at his near post, and the nature of the goal even had Jose Mourinho shocked on the touchline...

The United manager could scarcely believe Young's strike, and Anthony Martial soon added United's third as they headed into half-time with a comfortable 3-0 advantage.
