Watford have Will power

It might just have taken two-and-a-half years for the penny to have dropped for Watford striker Will Hoskins but his future could be bright under manager Malky Mackay after he came in and struck the midweek winner over Ipswich.

Hoskins, who was signed from Rotherham by previous boss Aidy Boothroyd, has struggled for a regular place and was farmed out to Millwall and Nottingham Forest two seasons ago.

Now Mackay is making the message clear as he says: "He undoubtedly has the talent but it's also about work rate and we have seen that recently. He's matured this season, he's had a child with his partner and settled down."
