Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata looks like he's enjoying himself on the Red Devils' pre-season tour of America.

The Spaniard, who scored nine goals in 33 Premier League appearances for the Old Trafford outfit last season, has added another beauty to his collection, albeit only in training.

Although he initially fell out of favour under Louis van Gaal during the previous campaign, and looked set to be the fall guy as the Dutchman adjusted his formation, Mata finished the season strongly.

His performances, including a sensational brace against fierce rivals Liverpool at Anfield, proved to be crucial in the Reds' successful bid for a top-four finish and return to the Champions League.

However, with a host of new arrivals bedding into the first-team fold at present, his place in the starting line up is, once again, under threat.

Yet Mata's latest effort will surely have caught the eye of manager Louis Van Gaal, who has a host of options at his disposal following the capture of both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.

After receiving the ball from Michael Carrick, Mata proceeded to turn the unfortunate figure of Phil Jones inside out before slotting the ball past a helpless David de Gea into the bottom corner. Quapa.
