Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made a host of changes to his side for the trip to face Walsall in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday evening.

The Portuguese manager has reinstalled John Terry in the heart of the Blues' defence while strikers Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy have both been given an opportunity to impress up front.

Diego Costa is widely regarded as the club's first choice forward but, with the possibility of a suspension hanging over the Spaniard's head after a scuffle in the victory against Arsenal, Remy and Falcao have a chance to be deemed worthy of regular game time in the west Londoners' upcoming fixtures.

Meanwhile, John Obi Mikel and Ramires both feature in midfield, as does youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Brazilian midfielder Kenedy is one of several players that will be hopeful that an impressive performance against the League One outfit tonight could force themselves into Jose Mourinho's thoughts.

Eden Hazard, Pedro and January signing Papy Djilobodji feature on a formidable substitutes bench for the visitors.

Walsall have lost just once in their opening eight league fixtures and will be hopeful that they can pull of a shock at the expense of the Premier League champions.
