Wales vs Belgium: Nations League prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results

Jonathan Gorrie11 June 2022

Wales continue their UEFA Nations League campaign on Saturday as they take on Belgium.

After their loss to the Netherlands, Gareth Bale spoke of the need to learn some more cunning lessons at the top level, having seen Frenkie De Jong waltz through their defence late on and set-up a dramatic winner.

Clearly, qualification for the World Cup was Wales’ main priority but Rob Page cannot afford to let focus slip.

With so little time left until this winter’s tournament in Qatar, all hands need to be on deck.

Belgium, meanwhile, are coming off the back of a huge 6-1 win over Poland and look in ominous form.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The UEFA Nations League game is scheduled for a 7.45pm kick-off time on Saturday June 11, 2022.

The Cardiff City Stadium will host.

Wales vs Belgium team news

Bale was rested from the start of the Netherlands loss and he will surely get a run-out once more, having missed so much football in recent weeks.

Elsewhere, Ethan Ampadu, Neco Williams, Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey should also feature as Wales look for their first win of the campaign.

Belgium, meanwhile, could welcome back Dries Meterns, Thorgan Hazard and Dedryck Boyata. Romelu Lukaku is injured.

Wales vs Belgium prediction

Belgium certainly boast the kind of attacking talent to trouble any team in world football, although Wales are a different beast in Cardiff.

Backed by a loud home support, it will be difficult to break them down.

1-1 draw.
