Uefa punish Dynamo Kiev with three-game stadium ban for racist behaviour of fans during Chelsea match

Dynamo Kiev have been ordered to play their next three Uefa home games behind-closed-doors and fined €100,000 after their fans were found guilty of racist behaviour.

The Ukrainian side's Champions League group game against Chelsea at Kiev's Olympic Stadium last month was marred by crowd disturbances and the club have now been punished.

A Uefa statement read: "Dynamo Kiev has been ordered to play their next three UEFA competition matches as host club behind closed doors.

"The third match is suspended for a probationary period of three years."

The ruling means that no fans will be present when Kiev entertain Maccabi Tel-Aviv in their final Group D match on December 9.

Sergei Rebrov's side are currently third in Group D on eight points but could yet qualify for the knock-out stages if they beat the Israeli side on matchday six.

Chelsea and Porto are both on 10 points but are not yet assured of a place in the next round of the competition and the fate of both teams could be affected by Kiev's result
