Trading places: The one star player Manchester United and Man City would love to sign from each other

Tom Doyle9 December 2017

The Manchester derby is fast approaching, with Man United and Man City facing off in a potential Premier League title-defining clash at Old Trafford.

A win for City would extend their lead at the top of the table to a massive 11 points before Christmas, though a defeat would see United cut the gap to just five points and throw the title race wide open.

Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have been ramping up their war of words before Sunday's derby, but there's no doubt both managers would secretly love to have one or two of their rivals' star men in the own squad.

So, United fans - would it be Kevin De Bruyne in midfield alongside Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic? Or perhaps Leroy Sane to solve Mourinho's long-term desire for a left-footed winger?

And City fans - who do you fancy? Would it be the Premier League's in-form goalkeeper David De Gea, or would you rather have Paul Pogba alongside Kevin De Bruyne?

Would Romelu Lukaku be an intriguing alternative to Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus, or would you prefer to add even more pace up top with the likes of Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford?
