Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has labelled Dele Alli "fantastic" to work with after the midfielder won the PFA Young Player of the Year Award on Sunday night.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a superb debut season in the Premier League, scoring 10 goals in 32 top-flight appearances for the north Londoners.
Alli beat off competition from the likes of Ross Barkley, Jack Butland, Philippe Coutinho, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku to win the individual accolade and Pochettino has hailed the youngster's achievement.
“I’m very pleased, very happy for him," Pochettino told the club's official website.
"He deserves this trophy and it’s great that other players recognise him as the Young Player of the Year. It’s fantastic to work with him."

Pochettino took time to praise the other members of his squad who were recognised for their individual performances but also stressed the importance of the collective ahead of tonight's clash with West Brom.
"I want to congratulate him for his achievement and be sure also to congratulate Danny [Rose], Toby [Alderweireld] and Harry [Kane] because they are in the Team of the Year with Dele.
“This is a fantastic achievement for the club but it’s important to recognise all the squad because I think from the beginning they’ve been brilliant with their performance and their behaviour.
“All can be recognised for us because the season so far has been fantastic,” he added.
Spurs currently trail Leicester by eight points and need to beat Tony Pulis's side at White Hart Lane to keep up the pressure on their title rivals.
