Kyle Naughton is believed to have agreed to join Swansea on a three-and-a-half year deal after leaving Tottenham.

The defender is understood to have passed a medical and was due to be presented as a Swansea player today after the Welsh club paid Spurs close to £5million for the 26-year-old.

Naughton moves to Wales hoping to revive a career that had stagnated at Spurs, where he was surplus to requirements.

Meanwhile, Tottenham target Adrien Rabiot is now unlikely to join the club on loan this month. Paris St Germain, had considered allowing the midfielder, 19, to leave on a short-term basis but are now resolved to keep him.
