Exit: Vlad Chiriches could leave Spurs

Vlad Chiriches is a target for Swiss club FC Basel.
The Romanian defender is surplus to requirements at Tottenham and has attracted interest from Basel, who will play in the Champions League next season after winning the Swiss title. Spurs are thought to be willing to do business at about £7million.
Chiriches, 25, may need to be convinced, however, of the merits of moving to a weaker league. It is thought he would prefer to remain in one of Europe’s strongest leagues.
Chiriches was also a target for Italian club Roma in the past and may be waiting to see whether they renew their interest this summer.
