Tottenham target Michy Batshuayi has signed a contract extension with Marseille.
Spurs have been monitoring the striker for some time, but failed to act on their interest when he moved from Standard Liege to Marseille in 2014.
And the north Londonders were dealt a blow on Wednesday when Batshuayi extended his stay in Marseille, keeping him at Stade Velodrome until 2020.
Tottenham could still move for the striker in the summer but his new four-and-half-year deal has sent his valuation rocketing past £30million and Marseille will be less inclined to sell.

Marseille defender Benjamin Mendy has also signed a contract extension until 2019.
Meanhwile, Spurs are keen to bring in a forward during the Janaury transfer window as they seek a deputy for lone striker Harry Kane.
Kane has scored 11 Premier League goals this season in 20 starts and keeping the England international fit could be key to their top-four chances.
