Tottenham booked a place in the inaugural Europa Conference League and wrecked Leicester’s Champions League dream with a 4-2 win at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester twice led through Jamie Vardy penalties after fouls on the striker by Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez but Spurs equalised through Harry Kane and then a Kasper Schmeichel own goal.
Substitute Gareth Bale scored twice from the bench to ensure Spurs finished seventh while Leicester missed out on a top-four finish.

Barely troubled aside from the two spot-kicks, neither of which he got near.

Has endured a torrid season but looked sharp here and did well in the build-up to Kane’s goal.
Toby Alderweireld 6
Uncharacteristically clumsy to leave a foot in and concede Leicester’s first penalty. Otherwise defended well.
Davinson Sanchez 5
Back in the team to match Vardy’s pace but allowed the striker to get goal-side to win the penalty. Unfortunate to concede the second spot-kick after Vardy grabbed his arm. Played a part in Spurs’ second goal.
Sergio Reguilon 5
His energy and pace occasionally caused Leicester problems but ragged in possession. Needs a summer re-set.
Harry Winks 7
A tidier performance than against Aston Villa mid-week, although offered little thrust from midfield. Booked for a hilariously unsubtle tactical foul late on.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 6
Occasionally sloppy in possession but broke up play well. Needs a rest.
Steven Bergwijn 5
Failed to really trouble Leicester’s defence and Spurs improved after he was replaced.
Dele Alli 5
Set-up a rare Spurs chance with a great pass for Son but otherwise subdued and ineffective.
Heung-min Son 6
Squandered a couple of great positions either side of half-time but did force the own goal by Schmeichel with a corner.
Harry Kane 8
Scored a stunning finish to level the game at 1-1 and set up the winner to ensure he finished the season with the most Premier League goals and assists. Irreplaceable, obviously.

Made the difference from the bench with a super finish from the edge of the box and wrapped up the win with a fourth in what could be his final game for Spurs.
