Heung-min Son is as important for Tottenham as Harry Kane and would get into any team in the world, believes Manchester United legend Gary Neville.
Jose Mourinho and Tottenham have been handed a significant boost ahead of a proposed Premier League restart, with Kane and Son both returning to fitness after picking up long-term injuries prior to the Premier League's suspension.
With Kane suffering a serious hamstring injury on New Year's Day which required surgery, Spurs were dealt another blow when Son - who has become accustomed to leading the team in the England captain's absence - broke his arm while starring in a win against Aston Villa.
Neville says the pair's return will be highly beneficial for Tottenham, insisting Kane would not be the player he is without his team-mate.
"The lockdown helped Tottenham because they've got Kane and Son back," Neville told Sky Sports. "I know we say that these clubs have squads because they're the big clubs. But you cannot - particularly at Tottenham - lose Harry Kane and not be impacted greatly.
"And Son I think is a player that would go into any team in the world. His style of play is so modern, he's a modern forward. He can play left, right, he can play off the front.
"I think in some ways, he's as important to Tottenham as Harry Kane. If you're Harry Kane, you need Son alongside you. He makes the runs past that creates the space for Kane.
"In fact, Kane is a massive positive for Tottenham, but he's a bit of a problem in the sense that they probably can't get another centre-forward to go to the club knowing they'll be on the bench.
"What is does mean is that when Harry's gone there's a big loss - and him and Son are hugely important."
