‘Coincidence?’ - Tottenham fans spot hidden Champions League message in new kit launch

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham fans have spotted a hidden Champions League message in the club's new kit unveiling.

Spurs on Tuesday released the 2022/23 home strip for the coming season, which comes in the traditional white complete with a 'neon volt' - a yellow accent to the collar and sleeves.

In the unveiling video are the usual suspects of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, along with the likes of Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski and Women's star Shelina Zadorsky.

Oh, and Ledley King doing some gardening.

But the video also includes Spurs fans of all ages donning the new kit, and among those images fans believe lies a hint at next season's ambitions.

A young supporter is lying back reading an Istanbul travel guide. Nothing too strange about that, right? Well, the Champions League final is being held in the Turkish city next season.

Istanbul was due to be hosts of the calendar's biggest club game in 2021, but saw duties pushed back by two years due to the pandemic.

Spurs now have their sights on a second Champions League final, having lost 2-0 to Liverpool in Madrid in 2019.
