Tottenham fanbase 'demands' FA Cup trophy from Mauricio Pochettino, says Millwall boss Neil Harris

Millwall manager Neil Harris expects all of the pressure to be on Tottenham during this afternoon's FA Cup quarter-final between the two sides.

Spurs are flying high in second place in the Premier League table and have been installed as clear favourites, courtesy of an unbeaten record at White Hart Lane this term.

But Millwall are set to go into the game in impressive form, having avoided defeat in their last 17 fixtures, and knocked out Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester en route to the last eight.

The Lions will be aiming to cause an upset and Harris believes high expectations among Spurs fans could work in the visitors' favour.

“The pressure is on Tottenham. They've got 30,000 people turning up expecting them to beat League One Millwall," Harris insisted.

“Spurs have taken the Cup seriously. Mauricio Pochettino wants to win the trophy and the fan base demands it."

Millwall will become the first lower-league side to knock out four top-flight teams in a single FA Cup campaign (excluding finals) if they are victorious this afternoon.

And Harris is relishing an opportunity for his players to test themselves against one of the best teams in England.

"At this stage of the competition, you want to play the best players and the best teams.

"We've earned the right to pit ourselves against one of the best in the country. We've got nothing to lose and everything to gain," Harris added.
