Tim Sherwood fight hots up

Blackburn are expected to continue their pursuit of Tim Sherwood despite Tottenham rejecting the Championship club’s attempt to make him their manager.

Spurs are believed to have turned down Blackburn’s request to speak to Sherwood, who played for both clubs and now oversees the development of younger players in his role as technical co-ordinator at White Hart Lane.
