Three-season wonder? Every goal from Golden Boot favourite Harry Kane's 2016/17 season at Tottenham

1/31

Harry Kane has fired himself into the lead for the Golden Boot with a four-goal haul as Tottenham thrashed deposed Premier League champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Spurs talisman in now favourite to pick up the prize, his second on the trot, thanks to a third hat-trick of the season and Romelu Lukaku's run of four games without a goal.

Kane now boasts 26 for the league season, a personal best after 25 last term, and joins an elite group with at least a quarter century of goals in back-to-back campaigns; Robbie Fowler, Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer and Robin van Persie.

It was just Kane's 29th appearance of the campaign, seven fewer than Lukaku, eight fewer than Alexis Sanchez and five fewer than Diego Costa.

The 23-year-old has averaged a goal every 94 minutes in the Premier League season, his nearest rival being Sergio Agueo's 130 minutes with 18 goals scored.

Tottenham travel to relegated Hull City on the final day of the season as Kane looks to better Lukaku and Sanchez and become just the fourth player to finish as top scorer in successive seasons after Van Persie, Henry and Shearer.
