Thomas Muller expects an ‘open game’ when Bayern Munich take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday night, but insists the Gunners are the favourites.

Muller, who has scored at Emirates in each of the last two seasons, goes into the match with Bayern sitting top of Group F with two wins from their opening matches.

"Away to Arsenal here, I doubt we are favourites, but of course our statistics of the past few months are great," said Muller. "However, Arsenal have quality and have shown it in the past few weeks.

"It will not be where one of the opponents park the bus in the goal, both teams will try to play offensively and it will be an open game."

While a defeat for Arsenal will not mathematically end their chances of reaching the knock-out stages, a third successive defeat will certainly see Arsene Wenger’s hopes of doing so left hanging by a thread.
