Thierry Henry warns Arsenal fans they could make or break club's title charge

Thierry Henry has warned Arsenal fans that they could make or break the club's Premier League title charge this season.

The Gunners have struggled for form in recent weeks and have won just two of their last nine games in England's top tier.

Arsene Wenger's side are nine points adrift of Leicester with nine games left to play but are not entirely out of the race.

Yet the mood at the Emirates Stadium following last week's FA Cup defeat to Watford suggested that not all of the club's fanbase are united behind the team.

Henry has urged Arsenal supporters to remain positive as "negativity" will not aid the club's attempts to end a 12-year wait for the title.

"Now is the time for everyone to pull in the same direction - players and fans - in order for the team to go all the way," he told Sky Sports.

"They need to have that togetherness at this crucial time. I have never heard the crowd at the Emirates react as they did against Watford.

"It doesn't help when you play and hear the fans having a go at what you do, or a decision from the bench.

"I've played in stadiums where the fans are not happy and it doesn't help. If that negativity comes from the stands, it becomes very difficult for anyone, especially when you haven't won the title for 12 years.

"Arsenal have to remain positive as that is the only thing they can do right now,2 he added.

"There are still nine games to go. In order for Arsenal to go forward, they have to block all the negativity that is around the club at the moment."

The Gunners face Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon and anything other than three points will not only increase the pressure on Wenger but also the disharmony that is growing throughout the club.
