Theo Walcott has thanks "everyone involved at Arsenal" as his 12-year association with the club ended on Wednesday with a move to Everton.

The 28-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Goodison Park upon joining in a deal which could be worth £25 million.

Walcott, who won two FA Cup during his 12 seasons at the club, has fallen down the pecking order this season with a little over an hour of Premier League minutes under his belt and spoke of his excitement at the challenge ahead.

"I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved at Arsenal – manager, coaches, backroom staff, and all the many people at the club that have been part of my family for the past 12 years," he wrote on social media.
