Tom Dutton12 April 2017

Arsenal are planning for a summer of change with the futures of many key figures still up in the air.

While contract talks with star men Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil continue to drag, Arsene Wenger is also yet to clarify his next step with his deal set to expire in the summer.

The uncertainty surrounding Wenger's future is contributing to his relationship with chief executive Ivan Gazidis souring and the Arsenal boss is understood to be opposed to proposed structural changes to the club's hierarchy.

But on the field, several players have entered the final 14 months of their contracts.

Standard Sport's James Olley has detailed the situations surrounding those players, while identifying the stars Arsenal are set to target in the summer as they undertake a huge overhaul.

Changes to the playing staff do not hinge on Wenger's future.

Indeed, regardless of whether the Frenchman stays, there will be big alterations with some players leaving of their own choice, others being shown the exit and arrivals coming in across all parts of the squad.
