The statistics support Harry Kane's assertion that Tottenham have out-run every team they have played so far this season.
Kane expects Liverpool will give an extra five per cent to impress new boss Jurgen Klopp, but warned the Reds that Spurs will again bid to win the battle of endurance at White Hart Lane.
And his confidence is not misplaced, according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. The figures show that Tottenham players are flourishing under Mauricio Pochettino's tough regime, covering an average of 115.7km per Premier League game this term.
Notoriously punishing on his charges, Pochettino joked that his Spurs players would be forced to undertake triple training sessions when he arrived in north London from Southampton, but his fierce approach is paying dividends.
