Ahead of the most pivotal weekend in Arsenal's recent history, majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has rejected a £1billion offer for near total control of the club.

The offer comes from Uzbek-born Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, who holds a 30 per cent stake in the club, but is understood to have not been formally responded to with Kroenke not interested in selling.

The news was met with eagerness by Gunners great Ian Wright, who is keen for change "whether it is the manager Arsene Wenger or the board upstairs."

Kroenke owns 67% of Arsenal after gradually increasing his stake since his first purchase in 2007 and owns similar stakes in multiple sports franchises.

But how are those teams, mainly based in North America, faring?

With four further franchises across four different sports of interest, two are bottom of their respective divisions, one is ninth of 15 and one of third of four.

See below for some less-than-inspiring reading for Arsenal fans.
