Former Tottenham youngster John Bostock has signed for Belgian club Royal Antwerp following his release from White Hart Lane.

Bostock, who joined Spurs from Crystal Palace in 2008, has signed a two-year deal with Antwerp, where he will link up with new manager - former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The 21-year-old made only a handful of appearances for Spurs and spent several spells away from the club on loan.

"Delighted to announce that I've signed for Royal Antwerp FC today," Bostock tweeted. "Can't wait to start the season and really looking forward to working under my new coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink."

Second Division Antwerp finished 10th in the table last season.
