Spurs 'interested in Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh'

Tottenham have made a shock move to sign Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh, according to reports.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is desperate to sign a forward before the transfer window shuts and has made an enquiry about Morocco international, the Daily Mirror reports.

Chamakh was left out of Arsenal’s squad to face Sunderland at the weekend as manager Arsene Wenger looks to set up a loan deal.

Everton are also said to be keen on the 28-year-old, while Fiorentina have expressed an interest.
