Southampton v Chelsea team news: Jose Mourinho makes six changes

Jose Mourinho made six changes for Chelsea's trip to Southampton in the Barclays Premier League.

Ramires came in for the suspended David Luiz, while Ashley Cole replaced the injured Branislav Ivanovic at St Mary's. John Obi Mikel, Fernando Torres, Juan Mata and Andre Schurrle were the other changes made by the west Londoners.

Saints made two alterations, with Gaston Ramirez handed his first league start of the season and Morgan Schneiderlin returning after a one-match ban.

Southampton: K. Davis (c), Chambers, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Lallana, Rodriguez, Ramírez

Chelsea: Cech, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Schurrle, Mata, Hazard, Torres.
