Sordell seeks net gain in reserves

Marvin Sordell is among the Championship's leading scorers and was called up by England Under-20s last month. But that has not stopped Watford manager Malky Mackay relegating him to the reserves to play Colchester at Boreham Wood tonight.

Following a run of six goals in six games at the turn of the year, Sordell has failed to hit the net in his last 11.

With Watford four points off the play-offs with seven fixtures remaining, Mackay needs Sordell to rediscover his form.
