Soccer Aid 2016: Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho welcomes Pele to ‘my new house’ of Old Trafford

1/15

Jose Mourinho prepared to walk into Old Trafford as Manchester United manager for the first time by posing with football legend Pele on Sunday.

The Portuguese coach posted a photo with Pele on his official Instagram account two hours before he was due to watch over an England side playing a Rest of the World team for Soccer Aid.

Alongside the snap, Mourinho wrote: "An honour to host Pele at my new house."

Mourinho will make his first appearance at Old Trafford for a game since becoming United's new manager.

The 53-year-old, along with Sam Allardyce and Robbie Williams, will take charge of an England side boasting of stars such as Jermain Defoe, Jamie Carragher, Louis Tomlinson and Olly Murs against a Rest of the World team managed by Claudio Ranieri.

The Italian, who led Leicester City to the Premier League title last month, will be able to call upon the likes of former Brazil star Ronaldinho, Fabio Cannavaro and Samuel Eto'o as well as celebrities such as Michael Sheen to his team as Soccer Aid raises funds for Unicef.
