Chelsea's recent run of bad form continued at Stamford Bridge on Saturday despite opening the scoring against Southampton in west London.

Willian was again on target for the Blues before the visitors' pressure told just before the break as Steven Davis rifled Ronald Koeman's side level.

Sadio Mane was then on target but the second half swung on an incident just before the visitors went 2-1 in front, as referee Robert Madley booked Radamel Falcao for diving under the challenge of Maarten Stekelenburg.

The Colombia international raced onto a loose ball in the Southampton 18-yard box and fell to ground following apparent contact from Stekelenburg. Replays appeared to show that the former Manchester United man was already going to ground before contact was made, but the incident will no doubt irk Jose Mourinho, whose side have now won just one Premier League game in their last five.

Graziano Pelle then compounded the hosts' misery, firing in a low effort, but should Chelsea have had the chance to change the course of the game from the spot at 1-1? Have your say in our poll below
