11 April 2012

Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko said he is putting thoughts about his future aside until the end of the season.

The Russian has been in impressive form during recent weeks, netting six goals in his last three appearances.

And he is keen to concentrate on the remainder of the campaign, he told Sport newspaper of Russia.

"I try not to think about my future in the team," Pavlyuchenko said. "At the moment it is senseless and unprofessional.

"We must finish the season, for which we have clear goals: to win the FA Cup and get into the top four in the Premier League in order to get a ticket to the Champions League.

"I will start thinking about my future in June."
