Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid? Florentino Perez suggests Zinedine Zidane can convince PSG star to sign

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has hinted that there could be some major transfer business at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer as he said that perhaps new coach Zinedine Zidane could sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

He also admitted he would like to bring in Neymar.

Perez welcomed Zidane back for a second spell at the club as coach on Monday evening and spoke to the media after the press conference to unveil the Frenchman in the press room at the Bernabeu.

Asked about the possibility of Zidane convincing Mbappe to move, Perez joked: "He's French. Perhaps he can do something [to persuade him to join]."

And given the choice out of Mbappe and his PSG team-mate Neymar, the Madrid president said: "Both of them!"

Earlier, he had said of the returning coach: "It's a love story dating back 18 years between Real Madrid and Zidane.

"Today is a really important day for madridismo. Everyone is thrilled. He will make the changes he has to make. But it won't be a revolution."

And ahead of an event in the centre of Madrid organised by former Real player Esteban Granero, he said: "Zidane is a man who produces enthusiasm not only in Spain, but throughout the whole world."
