Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has brushed off criticism for his side's lack of goals ahead of a key week in LaLiga.

Los Blancos lead the competition by a point from Barcelona ahead of their game in hand, away to Granada on Monday, and can move back to four clear again with a win in Andalusia.

But three of Madrid's last four goals have come from the penalty spot and Zidane's was asked about his team's lack of firepower on Sunday.

"I'm not bothered or surprised by what people say," he said in a press conference. "We only have the obligation to show that we are good. Everyone has their opinion.

"This is the most important club in history and that isn't going to change."

While goals have been hard to come by, Zidane's side have excelled at the other end with five cleans sheets in a row.

"A team is about constant balance," the Frenchman said. "We know we are good. I'm happy for [Thibaut] Courtois and for the team."

Madrid can clinch the title by beating Granada on Monday and then defeating Villarreal at home three days later.

"It's the last week and we have three games," Zidane said. "It's the most difficult week, the most important one.

"All the teams have things to play for and we want to put all our energy into tomorrow's game."
