Standard Sport brings you the best lines from Sunday’s papers, including potential managerial changes, and early season rumblings ahead of the January transfer window.

There may be a good three months to go before the window opens, but there are plenty of sparks flying in the transfer rumour mill at present.

Leading the way are Chelsea, with the champions' travails in front of goal leading to rumours aplenty.

Reports suggest that Radamel Falcao's torrid 18 months in England may come to an end in January, with the striker keen to move on if Jose Mourinho does not give him more game time. Having not even made the bench for the win over Aston Villa is the once-feared striker set to depart the Premier League in ignominious circumstances?

His space in the Chelsea squad may be taken up by Paco Alcacer, the highly-rated Valencia forward who could cost a sizeable £50 million. But Spain's top-scorer in Euro 2016 qualifying may just be the man to fire the Blues back into the upper reaches of the table.
