QPR transfer news: Charlie Austin hints at new Rangers deal

Top Scorer: Austin has scored eight Premier League goals this season

Charlie Austin has hinted he is about to sign a new deal at Queens Park Rangers.

Standard Sport revealed last month that QPR are offer him a new contract of around £60,000 a week.

The striker is the top English scorer in the top flight this season with eight goals and has attracted interest from numerous clubs.

Asked if has considered leaving, Austin told Sportslobster: “No. I’m really happy. Things are going so well at QPR and they’ve given me an opportunity to play in the Premier League which I’ve always dreamed of.

“I’ve got a contract and the most important thing is that we stick together and climb the table.”
