Premier League TV games 2016/17: Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham to be shown live on opening weekend

Sky Sports and BT Sport have announced the first round of Premier League fixtures to be broadcast live during the forthcoming season.

The campaign will begin on August 13, with newcomers Hull the first of the promoted sides to be televised as they welcome champions Leicester to the KC Stadium.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are all among those to have been selected for TV in the opening month of the season, while Manchester United will host Southampton in the first Friday night fixture of the campaign on August 19.

West Ham's first game at the Olympic Stadium, against Bournemouth on August 21, will be shown live on Sky Sports as the Hammers begin life at the 60,000-seater stadium in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
