Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has ended his association with football agency Catalyst4Soccer (C4S), according to the professional referees' governing body.

The 40-year-old had reportedly joined C43S in a desire to pursue off-field avenues such as public speaking but concerns soon grew in regards to a potential conflict of interests.

The agency also represents a number of professional footballers, including Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero and Oxford United goalkeeper Max Crocombe.

Clattenburg met with Mike Riley, the head of Professional Game Match Officials Ltd (PGMOL), on Tuesday and informed him that he would no longer work with C4S.

"Mark has decided not to work with the agency and as far as PGMOL is concerned that is the end of the matter," read a statement issued by the PGMOL.

Clattenburg is set to be on fourth official duty during Sunday's Premier League clash between Watford and Bournemouth before taking charge of Leicester's game against West Brom next Tuesday.
