In an age when loyalty in football is hard to come by, you can always rely on the club mascot.
You'd never see that furry old thing try and force through a big-money move to the local rivals, launching a mutiny against the manager or inhaling some laughing gas at the city's most happening nightclub.
Whether it's posing with the kids for a photo outside the ground, or encouraging the crowd into song on matchday, they're the top flight's ever-present and always keen for a cuddle.
Granted, some are just plain terrifying - as fans of Partick Thistle will tell you - but we couldn't do it without them.
